At EGA Farms, we are always seeking opportunities to innovate and develop new products that make the most of natural resources. We are pleased to share some of our exciting projects that are underway:
EGA pomegranate 11
Fresh, frozen, and dehydrated arils plant:
We are in the process of establishing a new specialized processing plant for fruit arils, including pomegranates. By using advanced processing techniques, we will be able to offer fresh, frozen, and dehydrated arils of the highest quality. These products will be perfect for consuming as healthy snacks, using in the food industry, or adding to various recipes.
Pomegranate peel derivative product pilots:
We recognize the value and potential of pomegranate peel, so we are developing pilots for creating derivative products from this part of the fruit. These products could include natural extracts, culinary and cosmetic powders, as well as other byproducts with nutritional and medicinal applications. Our goal is to make the most of every part of the pomegranate and minimize waste.
Inspirall Raceway
High-tech spirulina pond:
In partnership with Inspirall from Peru and Ancestral Tech from Arica, Chile, we are embarking on an exciting project to establish the first high-tech spirulina pond. Spirulina is a highly nutritious and sustainable superfood, and we are committed to cultivating it efficiently and environmentally responsibly. This initiative will allow us to produce high-quality spirulina, which can be used in the food industry and as a nutritional supplement.
