Our Farmers
Currently, EGA Farms actively collaborates with four farmer cooperatives in Tacna, engaging with 100 farmers and their families across five valleys: La Yarada, Sama, Occonchay, Cinto, and Ilabaya.

In three of these cooperatives, EGA has played a vital role in coordinating and guiding implementation. Additionally, we've facilitated training sessions and managed subsidized loans from Agrobanco and Caja Huancayo and/or Cofide for approximately 60 farmers through their respective cooperatives.

EGA Farms, in collaboration with these cooperatives, has successfully overseen the harvest and transportation of fruit crates to processing centers such as ZofraTacna and Chincha. This effort has led to the establishment of connections with a dozen international clients.

As part of our commitment to community development, EGA Farms has provided training and managerial support to one of the cooperatives. This includes collective purchasing of agricultural and harvesting inputs, resulting in significant cost savings and optimized logistical management.

In our ongoing pursuit of growth and diversification, we have forged relationships with a Hass avocados association in Tacna and a pitahaya-producing company. The objective is to process and/or export these fruits in the upcoming months, expanding our product portfolio and venturing into new markets.
